Principled & Purposeful Leadership (part 2): Coaching for Effective Leadership
Facilitated by Inbal Demri-Shaham, PhD, Stanford GSB executive coach and facilitator
Manager Forums continues with part two of our series on Principled & Purposeful Leadership.
In this session, Coaching for Effective Leadership, Stanford GSB instructor, executive coach, and facilitator, Inbal Demri-Shaham, PhD, will introduce you to the EFECT Coaching Framework, a research-backed process designed to help leaders expand their leadership toolkit to include coaching skills. EFECT follows the principles discussed in the first session with Professor Soule and is grounded in the GSB’s Leadership Model.
You will leave this session with applicable knowledge of how to use a coaching mindset to enhance your leadership, and an understanding of how you can use EFECT to structure conversations in ways that enhance effective communication, motivate and engage employees, help you manage up, and provide effective feedback.
April 23: The final installment of the Principled & Purposeful Leadership series will focus on negotiation and influence. Facilitated by Margaret Neale, The Adams Distinguished Professor of Management, Emerita, will help you get more of what you want from your negotiations.
If you previously enrolled in the February 26 session, you were auto-enrolled in Part 2 (March 26) and Part 3 (April 23), and received meeting invites for each session from STARS. If you cannot attend a session, do not drop the course in STARS, but rather, decline the meeting invite or do not join Zoom for that session.
