The Systems Leader
Join us for Manager Forums on May 27 and June 25 for a two-part series facilitated by Robert E. Siegel, Lecturer in Management, Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Part one of the series will introduce you to “Systems Leadership,” Siegel's holistic framework that helps leaders understand and master five key dimensions where they are likely to feel contradictory cross-pressures. You’ll leave with a framework and practical ways to lead effectively. In this session we will share how leaders from all over the world have navigated issues around prioritization, managing people, understanding global and local issues, and balancing ambition and stewardship in times of incredible upheaval.
In June, part two of the series will focus on how you can apply these lessons and the Systems Leadership framework to your work life at Stanford, and how you can be more effective as an individual contributor or a manager. This will be an interactive session that build on the content shared in the first session.
Please note that when you enroll, you will be auto-enrolled in both sessions and receive meeting invites from STARS. If you have any questions about enrollment, please email learningdev@stanford.edu.
