This afternoon and early evening event opens with two inspiring conversations featuring thought leaders who have made immigrants and their communities a cornerstone of their creative work and scholarship.

Join us after the conversations for a reception and concert with award-winning Ethiopian-American vocalist, songwriter, and composer Meklit Hadero and The Movement Immigrant Orchestra.

Meklit is the 2025 Visiting Artist at the Institute for Advancing Just Societies and the Institute for Diversity in the Arts.
