Music at McMurtry: Installation Pop-Up Exhibition

Event Details:

Doctoral student composers from the Stanford Music Department present installation works that ask questions about sound, space, material, memory, and engagement. The works range in medium from physical sound sculptures to motion tracking and audiovisual experiences. The pop-up exhibition will run from Monday April 3rd to Wednesday April 5th, open to the public from 11am-5pm at the McMurtry Building on Stanford campus. Please join the artists at an opening reception event from 3-5pm on Wednesday April 5th, 2023 at the same location. This group exhibition showcases works by:

Coulter Art Gallery is located at 355 Roth Way, in the McMurtry Building of the Stanford campus. Visitor parking is free all day on weekends and after 4 pm on weekdays, except by the Oval. Alternatively, take the Caltrain to Palo Alto Transit Center and hop on the free Stanford Marguerite Shuttle.
