Have you always wanted to enjoy some opera and also have a picnic by the beach at the same time?? Well you're in luck– The LA Opera is simulcasting Puccini's Madame Butterfly at Santa Monica Pier! Bring your blankets, and jackets for when it gets chilly. You can bring your own picnics, and there should be food vendors there as well. See you all there!

Transportation: It's about a ten minute walk from the Downtown Santa Monica Metro station (https://maps.app.goo.gl/iYV5vN1zAhg3FJUt5). There are plenty of paid parking lots nearby, although the ones closest to the pier might fill up (https://www.santamonica.com/transportation/parking/).
