Event Details:
The end of the academic year is an excellent time for graduate students to hit the pause button, reflect on the past year, and plan for the summer and beyond. Even if your graduate program doesn’t require a formal review, it is essential to take the time to assess where you are and consider options for the future.
This workshop will provide the opportunity and strategies to review the past year, evaluate your progress, and make plans for the next year. You’ll also learn from and share experiences with fellow graduate students in an interactive setting. We’ll discuss how to engage with your faculty mentor in this process, live and work by the values you cherish, and face challenges with a growth mindset.
Facilitated by:
- Steve Lee, PhD - Assistant Dean of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity (IDE) in the School of Humanities and Sciences; Principal Facilitator with CIMER
- Joseph Brown, PhD - Assistant Dean of IDE Education and Graduate Recruitment in the School of Humanities and Sciences
