SESSION DESCRIPTION
As we transition from the current era of digitalization to a future marked by personalization, we must fundamentally change how we work in order to advance quality and safety in our complex healthcare systems. In this session, we will review the core principles of Quality 5.0 and explore an agenda for modern health quality including safety, co-creation and empowerment of a healthy, competent, engaged workforce within people-centered, learning health systems.

EDUCATION GOALS

  • Understand the the evolution of quality in the context of the 5 industrial revolutions.
  • Identify core principles of Quality 5.0 and the agenda for Health Quality 5.0.
  • Adapt practical strategies and tools to transform “work as done” and improve the human experience of medicine.
