This presentation will discuss evidence that demonstrates integration of QoL and PPC improves outcomes. This will be accomplished through an interactive lecture and multi-media presentation.


EDUCATION GOALS

• Discuss myths and barriers related to pediatric palliative care.
• Demonstrate key practices to consider when integrating QoL and PPC into clinical practice.
• To inspire all of us to recognize the best way to provide PPC is in a humbly curious manner, with an open compassionate heart and a willingness to listen (and be changed by what we hear).
