Poetry & Science as Arts of Attention features Jane Hirshfield—one of American poetry's foremost spokespersons for the biosphere—alongside Stanford biologists Susan McConnell and Manu Prakash. An opening reading and presentations will be followed by a conversation among the panelists discussing the ways in which slowing down to attend to our being in the world serves as a tool that informs and cuts across creative practice and scientific inquiry.
