Please join E-IPER and colleagues from across the University on October 17th for a casual conversation on Carbon Dioxide Removal with Nan Ransohoff - Head of Climate at Stripe, and David Koweek, Chief Scientist at Ocean Visions, moderator by Prof. Robert Dunbar.
Project: Planet provides a casual forum for discussions on the most current challenges and opportunities in sustainability.
This event will feature Nan Ransohoff, Head of Climate at Stripe, and David Koweek, Chief Scientist at Ocean Visions. Together, they'll discuss the current and future state of Carbon Dioxide Removal, including technology, policy and verification.
Stripe has been a corporate leader in supporting CDR, including via Frontier, a $1b advanced market mechanism to accelerate CDR investment. Ocean Visions is a leading voice on ocean-based climate solutions and assessing monitoring and verification of CDR in the marine environment.
Doors open at 5 pm, and the discussion begins at 5:30 pm. Food and drinks will be served throughout the evening. We invite you to come early and stay afterward to meet and mingle with colleagues from across campus!
