Event Details:
This workshop explores how academics can leverage strategies, including LinkedIn, to teach a broader audience about their research. Participants will learn how creating a public social media presence can help them find collaborators, have a broader impact on their field, and differentiate themselves in an increasingly competitive job market. By the end of this session, participants will have a simple template for creating their profiles, 100+ writing prompts for creating content on their areas of expertise, and concrete guidelines for engaging with others' posts and building their networks. This workshop is taught by Mary Kate Stimmler, whose LinkedIn posts reached over 1 million readers in 2025.
