Join the King Center on Global Development for an interactive workshop with Stanford Impact Labs (SIL) focused on designing research for impact in resource-constrained environments. Bring your own pressing societal problem to discuss, as Stanford Impact Labs’ Sarah Hopwood and Alex Carr will lead the group through practical frameworks for understanding partner constraints, identifying opportunities, and mapping a pathway from research insight to real-world impact.

About the speakers:

Sarah Hopwood is the director of programs and education at Stanford Impact Labs. She leads the design and delivery of Stanford Impact Labs’ education programs, working with faculty, postdocs and students to promote and build capacity for implementing social impact research in partnership with policy makers and practitioners.

Alex Carr is the senior program manager of education at Stanford Impact Labs. She supports SIL's education programs, working with faculty, postdocs and doctoral students to promote and build capacity for implementing social impact research in partnership with policymakers and practitioners.
