Whose Knowledge Counts? Pursuing Health Equity through Community Partnership: Honoring the Contributions of Jorge De Luna

Sponsored by

This event is over.

Event Details:

Across disciplines, scholars and practitioners are deepening their commitments to university–community partnerships that generate knowledge with, rather than for, communities. Nowhere is this more visible than in the field of health, where collaborative models of research and care are helping reimagine what equity and engagement look like in practice.

This conversation honors Jorge De Luna, the Haas Center’s Director of Community Engaged Learning in Health, celebrating his retirement and his leadership at the intersection of higher education and public health. Jorge will be joined by collaborators and community partners to reflect on lessons learned and opportunities ahead for equitable, reciprocal engagement.
