Resourcing Ourselves for Resilience

Sponsored by

Event Details:

You may have heard that resilience is about “bouncing back” after an experience of failure or adversity, but resilience can also allow an individual to “bounce forward” and experience a positive change after a traumatic event. Resilience is not a personality trait that only some people possess. Instead, recent research has found that resilience is enhanced through specific behaviors, thoughts, and actions that that anyone can learn and develop.

In this interactive online workshop, we will discuss definitions of resilience and consider what it means to cultivate the foundational resources of resilience. You will learn the importance of a growth mindset and opportunity mindset to build your failure tolerance and will broaden and deepen your understanding of posttraumatic growth. Interactive discussion will bridge theory and everyday practices so you can resource yourself to respond resiliently to life’s challenges.

This class will not be recorded. Attendance requirement for incentive points - at least 80% of the live session.
