Scaling Geologic Storage of CO2 to Impact Global Emissions

Sponsored by

This event is over.

Event Details:

This conference will focus on the politics and the economics of environmental problems and regulation.

At this conference, we will convene sessions to address the following questions: Is it realistic to expect that CCS can scale to 100 Million Barrels per day by 2035? Do we have the right regulations in place? Carbon tax or credits? What role should the oil and gas industry play in CCS projects? Is the technology really ready? Will the public accept CCS, and how would we move public opinion? And ultimately, how does CCS integrate into a larger energy system?
