Overview

As women approach menopause, they may experience symptoms that impact quality of life and dysregulation of body systems that impact longterm health. This conference will equip providers to support patients through this transition and beyond. Stanford experts in women’s healthy aging will address hot flashes, sleep and mood changes, brain fog, sexual dysfunction, use of supplements, and long-term risks like osteoporosis, heart disease, and cancer, along with lifestyle strategies for health promotion.

The webinar will be presented live on Pacific Standard Time. All sessions will be recorded and the recordings will be provided to all registrants, including those who were not able to attend any of the live sessions.

Registration fee includes course materials, certificate of participation, and the webinar recordings. 

You will receive the Zoom information the week before the webinar. If you register within a week of the webinar, you will receive the Zoom information on Tuesday, February 3rd. 

Early Bird Rates:
Physicians - $450
Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, law enforcement, legal, non-profit, and other professionals including non-clinicians: $150

Registration Rate After 10/31/2025:
Physicians: $600
Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, law enforcement, legal, non-profit, and other professionals including non-clinicians: $200

STAP-eligible employees can use STAP funds towards the registration fees for this activity.  Complete the STAP Reimbursement Request Form and submit to your department administrator.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:


Describe common symptoms and changes in metabolic risk that women experience as they transition through mid-life. Explain risks and benefits of hormone therapies as they pertain to cardiovascular risk, breast cancer risk, and bone health. Counsel patients on effective behavioral and pharmacologic measures to promote healthy aging.

Cancellation Policy
Live Activities: Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Self-paced Activities: No refunds will be made on cancellation requests after a learner accesses any part of the course content. Any cancellations refunded will less a 20% administrative fee.
