The Faculty Staff Help Center marks National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month by selecting Stacey Freedenthal’s Loving Someone with Suicidal Thoughts: What Family, Friends, and Partners Can Say and Do for a two-session book club meeting on September 16th and 30th.

Help Center psychologist Joe Orovecz, PhD, will guide discussions of the book’s themes and review strategies for talking about suicide and navigating conflict. The first meeting will focus on chapters 1 through 5 with the remaining chapters covered in the second. Participants are responsible for obtaining their own copy of the book.
