Event Details:

Join us for an invigorating and introductory Qigong workshop tailored to embrace the rejuvenating energies of the spring season. Special visiting teacher, Marisa Cranfill, will guide participants through gentle movements and breathing techniques to harmonize mind, body, and spirit. Qigong, a transformative practice rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, integrates movement, meditation, and healing modalities to enhance longevity, wellbeing, and creativity.

The event will take place in person (Stanford ID required) and will also be livestreamed. Please RSVP below.

Marisa Cranfill is the founder of YOQI® Yoga + Qigong. Frequent trips as a child inspired Marisa to study academically and work in Asia for over 25 years. While living in China and Thailand, she received direct transmission from Qigong masters, nuns and healers in both the Buddhist and Daoist traditions. Marisa developed the YOQI® method while teaching yoga and Qigong at meditation retreats in Thailand. The method follows the Six Phases of Qi Flow to remove energy blockage and promote self-healing and spiritual insight.

Marisa is a certified (E-RYT® 500) yoga, Yin Yoga, Vipassana meditation and Qigong instructor. While her primary Qigong master is Mantak Chia of the Universal Healing Tao school, Marisa has trained with many Qigong and Taijichuan masters around the world – both famous and off the grid. She has been described as the ‘Queen of Qigong Flow’, with a resource library cataloging over 300 flows. A generous and light-hearted teacher, she guides her students through a functional approach and direct experience.  Marisa currently teaches around the world and is popularly known as the # 1 ranking Qigong YouTube channel and an extensive VOD library.

The in-person workshop is open to Stanford students, faculty, staff, and alumni. A Stanford ID is required to enter the center.
