 e a PEER?\n\nYou may have seen current PEERs running events like Dry Janua
 ry\, Sex in the Dark\, and weekly Naloxone and Upstander trainings for our
  community. We will highlight upcoming PEER events throughout the course s
 o you can attend and get a feel for what the role really looks like. \n\nP
 EDS 116 prepares you to become a PAID PEER educator with the SUPER and SHA
 RE offices\, and is a requirement if you want to apply to be a PEER. Howev
 er\, you are welcome to take this course even if you do not want to become
  a PEER (of course\, we hope you will want to after taking this class!). O
 nce hired\, PEERs are paid hourly for their work and we will be having cur
 rent PEERs join the class from time to time to co-facilitate and tell you 
 more about the role.\n\nNo matter your goals\, this class is an opportunit
 y to explore health and wellbeing on campus through a number of different 
 lenses. It is great for anyone interested in future careers in public heal
 th\, social work\, sociology\, psychology\, and medicine. \n\nEligibility\
 n\nMust be a current undergraduate frosh\, sophomore\, or junior. No prere
 quisitesInterest in becoming a PEER!Credit Options | This class can be tak
