Event Details:

Are you a Stanford innovator ready to transform your groundbreaking research into a thriving commercial endeavor? The HIT Fund is your proven partner for mapping a clear path from academic innovation to successful business launch. With an investment over our first two years of $2 million, the HIT Fund has enabled numerous Stanford innovators to license their technology and 19 teams to collectively raise over $35 million to date.

Leveraging the HIT Fund’s robust and customized commercialization support, including a tailored team of industry experts and a dedicated MBA Fellow acting as a hands-on business partner, HIT Fund awardees develop and execute on a “critical path” plan to navigate everything from identifying the best market for their technology to developing a compelling pitch for investors. The HIT Fund is now accepting applications through June 22nd from innovators from all Stanford schools and institutes for awards up to $250k.

In this session, hear stories from these current and former HIT Fund awardees on how they leveraged the fund's support to take their innovation from the lab to the market:

Katja Weinacht, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Stem Cell Transplantation and Regenerative Medicine
Dan C. Lee, CEO & Co-Founder, Perseus Materials – former Stanford postdoc
Maxim Zaslavsky, Entrepreneur – former Stanford postdoc
