The Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability is hosting its inaugural Stanford Sustainability Forum on April 29-30, 2026 – a global convening of scholars, solvers, and scalers centered on deploying scientific innovations to address our most pressing planetary challenges. 

Former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, internationally renowned chef and humanitarian José Andrés, and journalist and best-selling author Thomas L. Friedman are among the speakers who will join Stanford faculty for two days of conversation focused on the intersection of urgency and possibility.
