Stanford Medicine Orchestra Concert

Sponsored by

This event is over.

Event Details:

There has long been a vibrant relationship between medicine and music. Music has been called "medicine for the brain,” and provides a direct human connection among performers and listeners. Many caregivers and patients use and play music for its soothing and restorative power. The Stanford healthcare community has innumerable musicians among its faculty, students, staff, and alumni.

Following the success of the Stuck@Home Concert series, which served to unite our community during the difficult and uncertain time of the COVID19 pandemic, the School of Medicine is pleased to host its own orchestra led by Terrance Yan.

The Orchestra is comprised of students, faculty and staff from the School of Medicine and Stanford Hospitals.

This event is free and open to the public, though donations to the Orchestra Program are warmly accepted and will ensure we can continue this program into the future.

Thank you!

Per Stanford University policy, masking is strongly encouraged, but not required.
