Please join STS for our upcoming Prospective Honors Information Session/Workshop on Thursday, February 5, from 2:00–3:15 PM in Building 200 (Lane History Corner), Room 124.

This session will be led by STS Honors Program Director Dr. Kyoko Sato and Senior Director of Undergraduate Research Brian Thomas. The workshop will help you explore your STS interests and questions as you begin thinking about potential research topics for an honors thesis. We will also discuss how to secure research funding, apply for grants, and what it means to be part of the STS Honors Program.

The STS Honors Program is open to students in any major and will appear on your degree as receiving honors in STS. For STS majors, the honors program can also replace the capstone requirement.

For students interested in the honors program, this event is a great opportunity to fulfill one of the application requirements by attending an honors event while learning more about the program.
