Our understanding of what it takes to sustain life on Earth and of how we might synthesize entirely new molecules have both improved at an unprecedented rate in recent years.  Hosted by the Deans of the School of Medicine, the School of Engineering, and the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability, this symposium will focus on how we might tackle some of the biggest challenges in sustainability using some of the newest innovations in synthetic biology.
