DESCRIPTION:The new game from Coyote & Crow Games\, the Native creators beh
ind the Coyote & Crow roleplaying game\, Wolves is a semi-cooperative boar
d game for 3-6 players based on a gift economy. You take on the role of a
community leader attempting to manage limited resources to help get your p
eople through the winter. To survive\, you need to co-operate and share th
rough the gifting of what you've gathered and grown\, which will dwindle a
s you head toward winter.\n\nIf any player fails to meet their community's
needs\, all players lose the game — but if everyone makes it through wi
nter\, the player who gained the most status will be elected chief of all
of the communities.\n\nIn this session\, we will explore and play Wolves\,
examining the meaning of the title and how it relates to the style of gam
e play\, and discuss the broader topic of Native representation in the gam
ing community.\n\nTabletop Tuesdays is an event series held on the third T
uesday of each month. At these events\, we feature a selection of board ga
mes and collection items from across SUL's holdings around a specific them
 e. Drop in to learn about the month's featured game(s) and/or try some of
the board games we have for open play at the Silicon Valley Archives.\n\nI
