Join us for a talk by visiting artist Sohei Nishino followed by remarks and reflections on the artist’s work by a distinguished group of panelists including cultural historian Abby Smith Rumsey; poet and Stanford lecturer in creative writing, Sara Michas-Martin; and associate professor of the history of the built environment at the University of California, Santa Cruz, Albert Narath. The program will conclude with a panel discussion and Q&A facilitated by art historian and Stanford ITALIC Associate Director Kim Beil and David Rumsey Map Center staff.
