Event Details:

Lecturers and Academic Teaching Staff (LATS) events bring together academic teaching staff from across disciplines for professional development and community-building.

The Textile Makerspace in Pigott Hall is a community space where anyone can learn to sew, knit, crochet, embroider, weave, or use other textile tools and methods for personal or academic projects.

In this session, we'll take a tour with Makerspace Director Quinn Dombrowski, talk about data physicalization using textiles, and consider how creative making can fit into a variety of courses.

This event will begin in 408 Panama Mall and includes a short walk to the Textile Makerspace in Pigott Hall. Please note: an option to place a lunch order will be provided following registration.
