DESCRIPTION:As we navigate life’s challenges\, gratitude can feel elusive
and inauthentic. Yet research demonstrates gratitude can have profound an
d positive effects on our relationships\, our physical and mental health\,
and overall well-being.\n\nIn this one-hour webinar we'll talk about why
gratitude is not a feeling\, but a practice. We'll discuss how to authenti
cally practice gratitude through experiential exercises\, mindset shifts\,
and specific actions. We'll also explore the importance of both expressin
g and receiving gratitude. You'll walk away with a framework for fostering
gratitude in ways that feel resonant and make a difference in your life a
nd relationships.\n\nThis class will be recorded and a one-week link to th
e recording will be shared with all registered participants. Attend the li
ve session or listen to the recording within one week to receive incentive
points.\n\nRequest disability accommodations and access info.\n\nInstruct
or: Sarah Meyer Tapia\, PhD\, is interim director of Stanford Living Educa
tion and program head (and heart) of Wellness Education. She has worked in
both employee and student wellness\, studying and teaching stress-managem
 ent\, mindfulness\, self-compassion\, and behavior change to students\, fa
