DESCRIPTION:Join us for Gian Carlo Menotti's The Medium – a gripping one-
hour chamber opera which confronts faith\, the manipulation of the truth a
nd its consequences.\n\nWe set the opera in early 20th century London\, wh
ere Madame Flora\, a charlatan psychic\, makes money by pretending to conn
ect her customers with their dead loved ones. Her accomplices are her daug
hter Monica and the silent\, adopted Toby. When Madame Flora begins to ima
gine the spirits herself\, her own truth unravels in madness with deadly r
epercussions. In an age increasingly shaped by distortion and manufactured
truths\, The Medium remains chillingly relevant.\n\nAdmission Information
