The Thomas Schultz Summer Piano Seminar is an annual opportunity for young pianists — eighteen and older, who are at an advanced level of study — to work with the distinguished pianist and pedagogue Thomas Schultz on the campus of Stanford University. 

During the seminar, each participant prepares two works to play in a masterclass setting and in a public concert, drawing from both traditional repertoire and contemporary compositions. Three concerts featuring the seminar participants will be open to the public at Campbell Recital Hall in Braun Music Center.

• Nathan Cheung, Alexander Schwarzkopf, Roger Xia, Eric Tran, and Linda Liu
  Performing works by Bach, Na, Kurtag, Satie, and Schumann

• Stanford University guidelines now state that masks are no longer required, but are strongly recommended. We encourage you to continue wearing masks for the comfort of our patrons, staff, and artists. Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test will no longer be required.
