Understanding Large Language Models: An Introduction to AI for Humanists

Sponsored by

This event is over.

Event Details:

Large language models such as ChatGPT can revolutionize (as well as challenge) how humanists teach and research. This three-hour, hands-on workshop peeks under the hood of large language models to let those of us who are not computer scientists still understand—at a fairly sophisticated level—how they work. The workshop will also provide practical advice on how to more effectively use large language models for careful, responsible research in humanities research. To register please go here.

This workshop is organized by the Ptarmigan Fund for Late Ancient Studies and co-sponsored by CESTA.
