 hing.\n\nRev. Ann Jefferson\, a 44-year resident of the Bay Area\, currentl
 y works as Director of Community Life and Spiritual Care at Pacific School 
 of Religion (PSR) in Berkeley\, CA. In this role she serves as one of the C
 ampus Pastors and also as coordinator of PSR’s weekly Community Chapel.\n\n
 Beyond the seminary\, Ann serves as Associate Pastor of Worship & Liturgica
 l Arts at City of Refuge UCC in Oakland where Bishop Yvette A. Flunder is F
 ounding and Senior Pastor and she has been a member for 32 years. Pastor An
 n is also active in The Fellowship of Affirming Ministries (TFAM) as facili
 tator of TFAM’s Educational Council. Her ministry has also included serving
  as a musician and director at several congregations throughout the Bay are
 a\, and she brings 35+ years’ experience to her love and study of the histo
 ry of African-American sacred music. A key planner of the African-American 
 hymn festival for the Society’s conference held in Berkeley in 2008 and a r
 ecipient of a 2010 Heritage Keepers’ Award from the Friends of the Negro Sp
 irituals\, Ann has taught numerous seminars in this subject area.\n\nRev. J
 efferson enjoys working with circles of learning and leadership to inspire 
 hearts toward greater spiritual reflection and transformative action. She i
 s also passionate about preaching and creating sacred liturgies and liturgi
 cal items customized for a variety of congregational\, family\, and communi
 ty settings. Her most current creative venture is her “Love Beyond Margins”
  project which is a compilation of her original compositions and arrangemen
 ts. “Love Beyond Margins” represents sacred music with a justice lens. This
  year\, the project will also include an additional component of raising aw
 areness around Pancreatic Cancer as she completes a recording and also publ
 ishes a book entitled\, “Love\, Mamma” which includes faith reflections fro
 m her mother’s final journey to her eternal home.
