 \, New York\, but she was raised primarily in Florence\, South Carolina. T
 hroughout her years in ministry\, Reverend Goodman has served in various A
 frican Methodist Episcopal (AME) Districts and churches all over the Unite
 d States\, including Bethel AME in Carbondale\, Illinois\; Allen Temple AM
 E in Bessemer\, Alabama\; Poplar Springs AME in Sanford\, North Carolina\,
  and Prince Chapel AME in Tucson\, Arizona. Reverend Goodman has had the o
 pportunity to serve in a plethora of ministerial roles\, from children’s
  choir director to the founding Pastor of Sierra Vista Community AME Churc
 h\, a new church that entered into the conference two years ago.\n\nShe an
 d her husband\, Pastor Shelby Goodman\, are still currently assigned to th
 e Sierra Vista Community AME Church\, where she serves as an Itinerant Eld
 er and Minister of Music. Her attitude in every assignment is\, “Let’s
  see what the Lord will do!” For the last four years\, Reverend Goodman 
 has served as the Executive Director of Human Resources at Scarritt Group\
 , a clinical trial meeting planning company in Tucson\, Arizona.\n\nRevere
 nd Goodman has earned a Master of Business Administration from Southern Il
 linois University Carbondale\, a Master of Science in Elementary Education
  from Mercy College\, and a Master in Global Leadership from Fuller Theolo
 gical Seminary.\n\nFor the last 17 years\, Reverend Goodman has been happi
 ly married to Reverend Shelby A. Goodman. She is the proud parent of three
  stepchildren\, Chyna\, Toni\, and Shelby Jr.\, and a two-year-old cockapo
 o\, named Maddie.
