Join us for a special Veterans' Day Celebration in partnership with the city of Palo Alto.

We will be welcomed by the Mayor of Palo Alto, Ed Luaing and Stanford Vice Provost for Student Affairs, Michele Rasmussen as we witness the South Bay Blue Star Moms present the Quilt of Valor to veteran Manny Velasco. Zach Wright, a former Staff Sergeant with the US Air Force and current junior studying communications and public policy, will serve as our master of ceremonies for an event featuring special performances and guest speakers, including Stanford's very own Mendicants.

• Remarks begin at 5 p.m., followed by a reception at 6 p.m.
• RSVP's are encouraged but not required. 
• Guests may park on the Stanford campus for free after 4 pm, unless parking spaces are posted otherwise. The closest available parking to the Traitel building is along Roth Way and Lasuen St., by Frost Amphitheater and Bing Concert Hall.
• To get to the Traitel building, walk along Lasuen St., under the archway, and toward the Main Quad. Cross over the roundabout on Jane Stanford Way and continue up Lasuen St. until you see the Traitel building on your left.
