Join us for the We are Stanford: Welcome to Fall ’24 event! All staff and faculty are invited to attend as we celebrate the start of a new academic year, honor and appreciate our staff and faculty, and foster a welcoming and inclusive community at Stanford.
Bring a blanket to lounge on the lawn, enjoy connecting with your colleagues, and hear brief remarks from our new president, Jonathan Levin. As a reminder, lunch and giveaways will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. We look forward to seeing you there!
Can’t join in person? A virtual Welcome to Fall ’24 event for hybrid and remote faculty and staff will be happening on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. PST.

Transportation information
Carpooling, walking, bicycling, or taking Stanford’s free Marguerite bus lines to the event is encouraged.
Parking: If you are driving to Stanford University for the event, you may register for free parking in the Track House or Varsity lot. Limited free ADA parking will be available on Roth Way. Please note: free parking is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
To avoid a citation, vehicle information is required to obtain permission to park in the designated reserved spaces. Please use the following voucher code:

- Shuttle bus transportation will be provided to and from Stanford campus for SRWC Employees
- Depart to Stanford Campus: 11:15 AM pickup in front of the SRWC Recreation & Wellness Center (900 Warrington Ave Redwood City, CA, 94063)
- Return from Stanford Campus: 1:30 PM pickup near Frost Amphitheater in front of Bing Concert Hall (Corner of Museum Way and Lasuen Street Stanford, CA 94305)

- Take SLAC bus line from various stops at SLAC (every 40 minutes) and transfer at stop #236 on Via Ortega at Cypress Hall to Line X (same stop, every 20 minutes)
- Disembark from X line at the Visitor Center stop on Campus Drive and walk northwest on Campus Drive
- Take the pedestrian pathway behind Bing Concert Hall to Frost Amphitheater

Marguerite bus line 1050A from Stanford Research Park:
- Take bus line 1050 Arastradero (“1050 A”) that runs through Stanford Research Park (every 20 minutes) and transfer at Li Ka Shing stop on Via Ortega to the X line bus (every 20 minutes)
- Disembark from X line opposite the Visitor Center stop on Campus Drive and walk northwest on Campus Drive
- Take the pedestrian pathway behind Bing Concert Hall to Frost Amphitheater

- Walk back to campus Drive on the opposite side from the Visitors Center and Take the Y line bus from stop #306 opposite the Visitors Center (Koret Plaza stop)
- Transfer at Li Ka Shing stop on Via Ortega to Line 1050 A back to Stanford Research Park stops.
