This event is over.

Event Details:

As the risk of catastrophic wildfires has grown over the past decade, California homeowners are facing an unprecedented insurance crisis. Insurance premiums are rising rapidly, and coverage options are changing, including the rapid growth of the state-mandated FAIR Plan as it increasingly becomes the only option for many buyers. This webinar presented new research led by Nam Nguyen, Research Fellow at Stanford’s Climate & Energy Policy Program, on recent trends in insurance availability and affordability. It was followed by a panel discussion with insurance experts on policy responses.
