Event Details:
Climate change represents one of the world’s greatest challenges. Please join us on June 19, 2023, in the LKSC building of the Stanford Medical School where the Center for Excellence in Pulmonary Biology and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital will be hosting a day-long symposium designed to bring together experts with a wide range of perspectives to consider the impact of climate change on children’s respiratory health. With speakers from Stanford and from across the globe, we will consider everything from trash burning in Africa, to the influence of the zip code on asthma severity, to the effects of climate and a warmer planet on a developing fetus, and even the life-long economic implications. In interactive sessions, we hope to give careful consideration to not only the challenges but also putative solutions.
There is no cost for participation.
