​Dr. González is an Assistant Professor at UC Berkeley who specializes in environmental health sciences. His work delves into the profound effects of climate-driven disasters, like wildfires and extreme heat, on our built environment and the opportunities they present for advancing climate health equity.

​This event promises to shed light on Dr. González's research on environmental justice and health disparities, highlighting his innovative efforts in addressing these pressing issues. Discover how evidence-based interventions can pave the way toward healthier, more equitable communities. He is also a Stanford alumnus of the Emmett Interdisciplinary Program in Environment and Resources (EIPER) PhD program and a former El Centro Chicano y Latino Graduate Scholar.
