Stanford Pan-Asian Music Festival: Stanford Symphony with Kenny Endo, Ma Jie and Jin Hi Kim

Maestro Jindong Cai conducts the Stanford Symphony and guest artists Kenny Endo and Jin Hi Kim in a rousing concert of works for Asian drums and symphony orchestra. The program includes a world premiere by Jin Hi Kim, Monk Dance for Korean barrel drums and orchestra, co-commissioned by the festival and the New Haven Symphony. Also on the program are Zhou Long's Beijing Drum for pipa and orchestra, and Let Freedom Ring for Taiko drums and orchestra, composed for Kenny Endo by E. Takeo Kudo.
