Event Details:

America’s favorite pastime is one of the most photographed sports in the world, and images of our favorite teams and players highlight sports pages, websites, smart phones, and baseball cards. While the baseball experience for the average fan is one of relaxing afternoons, eating hot dogs and enjoying the big league atmosphere, to the professional sports photographer baseball is a test of concentration, deadlines, and handeye coordination.

Join us tonight to hear what it takes to get the picture from three of the best photographers on the baseball beat. Major League Baseball and Sports Illustrated photographer Brad Mangin, San Jose Mercury News staff photographer Nhat Meyer, and the San Francisco Giants photographer Andy Kuno will share their images and stories about how they captured and approached the 2010 Giants championship season.

The program will be hosted by John Todd, a professional photographer who operates International Sports Images, the official photography supplier to the US men and women’s soccer teams, Stanford Athletics, UC Berkeley, and the Women's Professional Soccer League.
