Did you know that by design, the breath is meant to massage and elongate the human spine? Dr. Roger Sperry, 1981 Nobel Prize winner for brain research quotes: “90% of the stimulation and nutrition to the brain is generated by the movement of the spine”. Modern posture has essentially incapacitated this movement. In this 4-week class, we will teach postural and breathing basics that will begin to restore elasticity, movement and breath to your spine. You will be aware of your spine and breathing working together to ease back and joint pain, and start you on a path to unimaginable health. Breathe like you did as a child. Come and learn to feel better, shed tension, improve posture and relax with your breath. This class is appropriate for new and returning, alike.
