Naghmeh Samini earned her PhD on Theatre and Mythology in Iran and taught drama history and playwriting at the University of Tehran for 12 years. She has written more than 20 plays, published and performed in Iran and abroad. She is currently one of the script writers for the exceptionally popular Iranian TV series “Shahrzad.” Her lecture will focus on her work with “Shahrzad” and how the show’s popular reception exceeded her expectations.
