Our relationships, work, health, and school, can be stressful and/or fulfilling. Wise perspectives and decisions enable us to better cope with life challenges and do so with greater happiness.

Wisdom Therapy has been established as an effective way to address anger, stress, anxiety, and relationship and office conflicts while simultaneously enhancing health, productivity, and life satisfaction. Wisdom Therapy aims to promote wellbeing through the integration of empirically supported best practices both from Western psychological science, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and emotional intelligence, and from Eastern traditions, such as humility, mindfulness meditation, compassion, and gratitude.

This 1-day course will enable individuals to learn and apply practical and effective wisdom related techniques to their personal and professional lives. Multimedia, videos, and humor will be included to make for an entertaining day!

Instructor: Shani Robins, Ph.D. is an instructor at Stanford University’s Well-Being Program and Stanford Health Improvement Program. He is a licensed Psychologist, a National Institute of Mental Health Fellow, has pioneered the field of Wisdom TherapyTM in 1998, and is the founder and president of the Wisdom Therapy Institute (www.wisdomtherapy.com).
