Event Details:

Are you tired of the awkward feeling of not knowing what to say to support a colleague in a difficult time, whether work-related or personal? Empathy Bootcamp, taught by Dr. Kelsey Crowe, is a 3-hour program on empathy etiquette about what to say and do for the people you know who are experiencing any range of life’s challenges. Grounded in social science and delivered with humor and heart, you will come away with concrete ways to impact every employee’s sense of wellbeing, belonging, and even productivity by being the empathetic person you want to be, when it really counts.

Instructor: Kelsey Crowe, PhD is author of the book "There Is No Good Card for This: What To Say and Do When Life is Scary, Awful, and Unfair to People You Love" (HarperOne 2017). She regularly conducts Empathy Bootcamps in the Bay Area and teaches social work at California State University.
