As one critic aptly put it, CAUGHT is “a Puzzle Box of a Play.” In exploration of art, truth, journalism, and cultural appropriation, this play deals with issues of social justice in a truly novel way where nothing is taken for granted.

Proudly featuring the original work of student artists across campus, the entirety of the play is performed within an art gallery. Surrounded by art inspired by free speech, protest, and pop culture, CAUGHT tells the story of a notable Chinese dissident artist who was imprisoned for a work he did not create.
