Too often the charge to address and remediate campus inequity and injustice falls to task forces or steering committees focused on issues of compositional diversity and campus climate.  However, in order for institutional transformation toward greater equity and justice to be realized, it must be the work of the entire campus stretching beyond community climate issues to what is happening in the classroom, research and enterprise projects, and the university’s relationship with the local community.  In this talk, Dr. Dafina-Lazarus (D-L) Stewart will assert the necessity of a total campus mandate for addressing institutional equity and justice.

Light refreshments provided after the talk, in the Clark Center courtyard.
