Gabby Rivera is the critically-acclaimed author of the young adult novel, Juliet Takes a Breath, and the creator of the first Latina queer super-heroine, America Chavez, for Marvel Comics. Come and hear her discuss her work and why creative and artistic careers are important for the representation of marginalized identities.
