Event Details:

When Marijana’s dominant father falls ill, she takes over his role as the head of the family. This new power allows her to explore her sexuality and her inner strength and gives her a taste of freedom. View trailer. Directed by Hana Jušić, (Croatia, 2016).

A Q&A with Srdan Keca of Stanford Department of Art & Art History will follow the film screening.

These films are part of the annual SGS Summer Film Festival running most Wednesdays from June 13 to September 12. This year's festival features ten films from around the world that focus on the theme “Friends & Family: Tales From Near and Far.” For more information on the film festival, please visit SGS Summer 2018 Film Festival.
