Stanford Neurosciences Institute Seminar Series Presents

Integration of Quantitative Imaging and Genetics for Precision Health

Anders Dale, PhD

Professor of Neurosciences at UC San Diego

Host: Brian Wandell

Abstract

The goal of the work to be presented is to enable quantitative non-invasive imaging of brain physiology and anatomy in health and disease, by combining imaging modalities and advanced analysis methods. This includes 1) Development of improved methods for structural and functional image acquisition and analysis in multi-site, longitudinal studies; 2) Development of improved methods for integration of imaging biomarkers and genetic information for individualized risk prediction; and 3) Translation of quantitative multimodal imaging, molecular biomarkers and genetics into clinical practice.
