Nitin Sawhney and Wang Ramirez

The U.S. premiere of Dystopian Dream, a theatrical realization of a concept originated by composer Nitin Sawhney, is a collaboration with international hip-hop duo Honji Wang and Sébastien Ramirez. Uniting Wang Ramirez’ extremely physical hip-hop influenced dance language with Sawhney’s iconic music and a live singer, the production will take the audience on a journey through parallel universes and unreal dreams.

Featuring animated projections, flying by wire, and dazzling set design, Dystopian Dream grapples with themes of loss, isolation, surrender, and continuity. It will be a revelation for the eyes, ears, and soul.
